 College Visits
Colleges will begin to make visits to SHS in the fall. Juniors and Seniors should always use this as an opportunity as they explore what college(s) are best for them! Announcements and updates will be sent via emails and posted on schoology. For more information or questions, please contact Karen Good at kgood@rockingham.k12.va.us

Military and Selective Service: This announcement is for all 17 and 18-year old guys out there. If any of you haven't already registered with Selective Service, this is the time to do it. Federal law requires all men living in the U.S. to register within a month of their 18th birthday. Registering keeps you eligible for college loans, job training, government jobs and driver's license renewal in most states. You can get a Selective Service registration card at your local post office or register online at www.sss.gov. Debbie Correa in the Counseling Office also has more information. So, be sure to register for Selective Service as soon as you can. Your future depends on it.
