This announcement is for all 17 and 18-year old guys out there. If any of you haven't already registered with Selective Service, this is the time to do it. Federal law requires all men living in the U.S. to register within a month of their 18th birthday. Registering keeps you eligible for college loans, job training, government jobs and driver's license renewal in most states. You can get a Selective Service registration card at your local post office or register online at www.sss.gov. Debbie Correa in the Counseling Office also has more information.
So, be sure to register for Selective Service as soon as you can. Your future depends on it.
The different branches of the military visit Spotswood throughout each month. They are scheduled as follows (subject to change) . . .
Marines: 2nd and 4th Mondays
Navy: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays
Army: Periodic Tuesdays

College Applications, Recommendations and Scholarships
YOU MUST MEET THE COLLEGE DEADLINE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.
After you submit your college applications, please remember that it could take 2-4 weeks for them to be matched with your transcript, counselor or school report, evaluations and letters of recommendations.
Don't panic if you check your application status and it is saying that the college has not received supporting documents. College admissions offices will contact our counseling office if they are missing any part of your application; however, you will not be considered unless your application is submitted by the deadline.
